When you create an account, we collect:
- Personal Details: Name, email address, phone number, and profile picture.
- Business Information: Company name, industry, and business type.
- Payment Information: Billing address and payment method details (processed securely by our payment providers).
1.2 Social Media Account Data
When you connect social media accounts, we may access:
- Profile Information: Username, profile picture, bio, and follower/following counts.
- Page/Account Data: Pages you manage, account insights, and analytics.
- Content: Posts, media, comments, and engagement metrics (only with your explicit permission).
- Access Tokens: OAuth tokens to perform authorized actions on your behalf.
1.3 Usage Data
- Features and tools you use within SocialXN.
- Posts created, scheduled, and published through our platform.
- Log data including IP address, browser type, device information, and access times.
1.4 AI-Generated Content Data
- Prompts and keywords you provide for AI content generation.
- Generated content and images created using our AI tools.
- Content preferences and brand voice settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide Services: Operate our platform, generate AI content, schedule posts, and manage your social media presence.
- Improve Platform: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features and user experience.
- Communicate: Send service updates, security alerts, and (with consent) marketing communications.
- Personalization: Customize AI suggestions and content recommendations based on your preferences.

3. Social Media Platform Integrations
Facebook & Instagram (Meta)
When you connect Facebook or Instagram accounts:
- We access data in accordance with Meta's Data Policy.
- We use the Graph API to publish content, read insights, and manage pages.
- We do not store Facebook/Instagram passwords - authentication uses OAuth 2.0.
- You can revoke access anytime from Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
Twitter/X
When you connect Twitter/X accounts:
- We comply with X's Privacy Policy and Developer Agreement.
- We access tweet posting, reading timelines, and analytics through the Twitter API.
- Revoke access from X Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions.
When you connect LinkedIn accounts:
- We follow LinkedIn's Privacy Policy.
- We access profile information, company pages, and post publishing capabilities.
- Revoke access from LinkedIn Settings → Data Privacy → Permitted Services.
Other Platforms
For YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, and other integrations:
- We adhere to each platform's specific API terms and privacy requirements.
- Data access is limited to what's necessary for our service functionality.
- You can disconnect any platform at any time from your SocialXN dashboard.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We may share your data with:
4.1 Service Providers
- Cloud Hosting: AWS, Google Cloud for secure data storage.
- AI Services: OpenAI and other AI providers for content generation (prompts are processed, not stored by third parties).
- Payment Processors: Stripe, Razorpay for secure payment handling.
- Analytics: Google Analytics for usage insights (anonymized data).
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
4.3 Business Transfers
In case of merger, acquisition, or sale, user data may be transferred with advance notice.
Note: We never sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

8. Data Deletion Policy
Account & Data Deletion
How to Request Data Deletion:
- Self-Service: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in your SocialXN dashboard.
- Email Request: Send a deletion request to contact@socialxn.com from your registered email.
- Support Ticket: Submit a deletion request through our support portal.
What Happens After Deletion Request:
- Your account will be deactivated immediately.
- All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Connected social media tokens will be revoked.
- Scheduled posts will be cancelled.
- AI-generated content will be removed from our systems.
Data We Must Retain:
- Payment/invoice records (7 years for tax compliance)
- Legal dispute-related data (until resolution)
- Anonymized analytics data (cannot be linked to you)
Social Media Platform Data Deletion
When you disconnect a social media account:
- Access tokens are immediately revoked and deleted.
- Cached profile data is removed within 24 hours.
- Analytics history is anonymized.
- We do not retain posts or content from your social accounts.
9. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies for:
- Essential: Authentication, security, and session management.
- Functional: Remembering your preferences and settings.
- Analytics: Understanding platform usage (can be disabled).

10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence. We ensure adequate protection through:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EU data transfers.
- Data processing agreements with all third-party providers.

11. Children's Privacy
SocialXN is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us immediately for deletion.
